The official investment promotion agency of the City of Stockholm, Invest Stockholm markets the Stockholm region and supports start-ups and innovative technology clusters in the fields of smart, sustainable city development, ICT, clean tech and food tech, among others.
We co-operate with 55 other municipalities to attract international investments, talents and new techologies to the Region of Stockholm. We support ecosystems for innovation and local cluster development projects in Southern Stockholm/Högdalen and Hammarby Sjöstad. The city of Stockholm works towards becoming a fossil free city by 2040.
This is why we want to be a part of the cultivating city bazaar project, Odlande stadsbasarer
We want to support technology innovation and circular and sustainable development of select city districts. The project supports a new model of co-operation and strengthens the international brand of Stockholm in the field of urban farming and foodtech, two new and growing technology sectors.
Role in the project
Invest Stockholm will co-ordinate the project, the technology test beds, the public information centre and communication.
